Upton-by-Chester is a family friendly club with a relaxed atmosphere. Our etiquette is therefore a sensible one – we are not a stuffy establishment so we have a policy of smart/casual wear in our clubhouse. However, we do have a dress code in place to ensure that all members and their guests can enjoy the course and club house facilities.
Please adhere to the code out of respect for others.
The following are not allowed on the course or in the clubhouse:

| Football or Rugby shirts | T-shirts |
Golfers must have a Collared Polo Shirt and Smart Pants or Shorts for the Golf Course.
Smart jeans are permitted in the clubhouse but not on the course, putting green or practice areas.
The Management reserves the right to ask people to leave the clubhouse if they feel that their behaviour is inappropriate or that they are unacceptably dressed.
The dress code may be relaxed for functions and Juniors under the age of 12.
