The Course

Course_018 Upton by Chester Golf Club is an 18 hole traditional parkland course noted for its mature tree lined fairways and USGA standard greens.

Built in 1934 as a 9 hole course, the 18 hole course you see today was originally mapped out by the eminent golf architect Mr J E Hassell during the winters of 1935-1937.

Visitors can be assured of a warm welcome by all staff and members. Check with the Professional for availability and booking a tee time.

Golf course and friendly staff

Played in Society event 5/11/11. Golf course was very good for time of year and the catering staff, food and value for money was excellent. Hope to come back here again. Everyone had a real pleasant day. Keep up the good work.
